Ever wish you could see the holiday season through the eyes of a child? The Mercer Museum in Doylestown brings that feeling of joy and wonder to life with Under the Tree: A Century of Holiday Trees and Toys, a new exhibit kicking off on Nov. 19.

During this special exhibit, which runs through Jan. 2, visitors will be given the opportunity to travel back in time and explore the history of the holiday season, from the mid-1800s to the 1980s. The exhibit will display antique gifts and toys that have been collected throughout the ages, showcasing how gift-giving has evolved over the years. They will also recreate the impeccable designs of ornate holiday trees, which have graced living rooms for centuries. There will be ornaments, tinsel, and lights galore to ogle with some friends from Norris Hill Apartments.

The exhibit can be visited during regular museum hours, with entry costing $14 for adults and $8 for kids (little ones under 5 are admitted free). If you’ll be visiting a few times throughout the year, consider purchasing a membership to save a few dollars!
