Who do I use as my real estate agent?
Berger Rental Communities maintains a network of Preferred Agents that you can use to facilitate a real estate transaction. An agent/brokerage must have an agreement with Berger Rental Communities to be used in conjunction with this program.
How do I get in touch with my real estate agent?
Schedule an appointment with a Berger representative, and we can help connect you with one of our preferred agents. If you fill out the Already Have an Agent form a Berger representative will contact both you and your agent.
How much notice do I need to give to break my lease?
The Home Purchase Freedom notice period is 60 days. This notice will need to be accompanied by a signed Agreement of Sale for the house you intend to purchase.
What if my real estate transaction gets delayed?
Contact the leasing office at your community as soon as you identify a need to extend your notice period. While Berger Rental Communities cannot guarantee an extension will be granted, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
