We’re thrilled to share that our own Mike Parkes has been named one of the December winners for Maintenance Legends! A huge shoutout to Kat Winkleman for nominating him and highlighting his dedication and hard work:
Mike has led his team to win our region’s coveted Golden Hammer award for 6 quarters in a row by having the overall highest Satisfacts score combined with highest work order completion percentage, all while leading one of our company’s largest communities. Mike regularly volunteers his time to help anyone in need, so much so, that during a recent trip to one of our Cleveland communities, Mike performed life-saving CPR on a landscaping employee who was suffering a medical emergency, saving the man’s life. Mike was recently recognized as our company’s Service Manager of the Year at our annual Berger Summit in June. He is dedicated to serving his residents, caring for his team members, and delivering great results. He is a true star, an everyday maintenance hero, and an outstanding leader, partner, and teammate. Most of all, he remembers that in this business, we have to have fun. You never know what you’re going to run into.
The team at HD Supply and the National Apartment Association loved hearing Mike’s inspiring story and are excited to celebrate this achievement with him.
