PRIVACY POLICY
Berger Rental Communities, LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company (collectively with its affiliates, the “Company” not having separate privacy policies), uses this Privacy Policy (including any applicable addenda) related to the privacy of any personal information obtained in conjunction with the use of the Company and/or its affiliates and their applicable respective property websites (“Company Website(s)”) and/or the operation of applicable business interests. By using any Company Website (or otherwise doing business with the Company), you acknowledge, agree and consent to be bound by the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy and hereby consent to Company collecting, sharing, employing, and using your information as described below. If any provision of this Privacy Policy is held to be illegal or otherwise unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be severed and, to the fullest extent possible, the balance of this policy shall continue in full force and effect.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy
The Company may change this Privacy Policy from time to time, in its sole discretion, without prior notice. This Privacy Policy governs your use of any Company Website, and you are responsible for reading and understanding and consenting to this policy prior to use of any Company Website. You agree to any such changes to the Privacy Policy by using our services and/or accessing any Company Website after we post our notice of such change.

How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information
We collect only information that you voluntarily provide us, including, but not limited to, your name, e-mail address, home address, phone number, usernames, passwords, and similar such information. We obtain this information when you, for example, fill out a contact form, enter a contest, fill-out an information request or otherwise voluntarily input personal information into our website. We do not collect any information that you do not voluntarily provide.
We may use the personal information that you voluntarily provide to respond to your requests, to provide services to you, to verify whether you are a Company customer or have the authority to enter portions of our websites. We may also use this information to inform you of various products or services offered by Company or its affiliates, agents and/or partners and to generally improve the content and administration of our websites.
Your browser may tell you how to be notified when you receive certain types of cookies or how to restrict or disable certain types of cookies. Please note, however, that without cookies you may not be able to use all of the features of our Websites. How We Protect Personal Information

Children’s Privacy
The Company recognizes the privacy interest of children and strongly recommends that parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities. Neither Company Websites nor our services are intended for children under the age of 13. The Company does not target its services or its websites to children under age 13. Further, Company does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under age 13.

To the extent any linked online services or third-party features are not owned or controlled by the Company or its affiliates, we are not responsible for these third parties’ information practices.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most internet browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can modify your browser setting to decline them if you desire. If you decline cookies, however, you may lose the ability to fully take advantage of our website’s features and services.
Do Not Track Policy
Your internet browser may provide you with a “Do Not Track” option allowing you to alert website and website application administrators that you do not want to have tracked certain of your online activities over time and across different websites. Our website does not currently support such “Do Not Track”.
Analytics
The Company uses third party analytics tools including analytics tools such as Google Analytics, to collect non-personally identifiable information utilizing cookies. Certain types of information, including geolocation, device type, onsite website usage and behavior, demographic data, and purchase history, may be collected and aggregated across Company’s Website and other websites’ users for analysis, providing services, and for other marketing activities. Security
The Company tries to safeguard your personal information but cannot guaranty its complete protection. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company and its affiliates shall not be liable for any such unauthorized, illegal or fraudulent use of personal information. If any term or other provision of this Privacy Policy is held to be invalid, illegal, or incapable of being enforced by any rule of law or public policy by a court of competent jurisdiction, the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions of this Privacy Policy shall, to the extent permitted by law, remain in full force and effect.

CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PRIVACY STATEMENT (if applicable)
This California Consumer Privacy Statement supplements the attached Privacy and applies solely to California consumers as may be required by the CCPA (not otherwise superseded by applicable law), or any similar requirements from the effective date above for other jurisdictions which may be at any time applicable to the Company and/or its affiliates. This Statement does not apply in any other way to the Company’s Privacy Policy, to any of the Company’s personnel and/or job applicants. This California Consumer Privacy Statement uses certain terms that have the meaning given to them in the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended, and its implementing regulations (the “CCPA”). Please note that we will not discriminate and/or retaliate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

Access: You may have the right to request, twice in a 12-month period, that we disclose to you the personal information we have collected, used, disclosed and sold about you during the past 12 months.
Deletion: You may have the right to request that we delete certain personal information we have collected from you.
Opt-Out of Sale: You may have the right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information.
How to Submit a Request. To submit an access or deletion request, email privacy@rentberger.com or write to Privacy Requests c/o Berger Rental Communities, 950 West Valley Road, Suite 2500 Attn: CA Privacy.
Verifying Requests. To help protect your privacy and maintain security, we will take steps to verify your identity before granting you access to your personal information or complying with your request. If you have an online account with us, we may verify your identity by requiring you to sign into your account. If you do not have an online account with us and you request access to or deletion of your personal information, we may require you to provide any of the following information: name, email address, telephone number, postal address, account number, and last four digits of Social Security number. In addition, if you do not have an online account and you ask us to provide you with specific pieces of personal information, we will require you to sign a declaration under penalty of perjury that you are the consumer whose personal information is the subject of the request. If you designate an authorized agent to make an access, deletion or opt-out of sale request on your behalf (a) we may require you to provide the authorized agent written permission to do so, and (b) for access and deletion requests, we may require you to verify your own identity directly with us (as described above).
Additional Information. If you choose to exercise any of your rights under the CCPA, you have the right to not receive discriminatory treatment by us. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may charge a reasonable fee to comply with your request. This Statement is available in alternative formats upon request.
